How to prepare for your first ascent to the top of the mountain

Before you go to conquer the top of the mountain, you need not only to put in order your physical form, but also to train endurance, respiratory and cardiovascular systems. They account for the maximum load at height. Therefore, due to insufficient preparation, you may get off halfway. To prevent this from happening, do swimming, jogging, cycling, and cardio training.

How should training be carried out? First and foremost, training should be continuous, effective and intense. In addition, the load should gradually increase. In the case of running, be sure to do this with the heart rate in mind. A well-planned run will not only allow you to lose weight, but also strengthen the heart muscle. By running at a high heart rate, you will allow your body to get used to the lack of oxygen - something that you will definitely encounter in the mountains. To build fitness and endurance, also run uphill or climb stairs at a brisk pace. And don't forget to take a rest one week before your trip!
